Welcome to PerCAA 2020:

The Conference on Pervasive Computing Advances & Applications PerCAA-2020 is the second International Conference being organized with publication support of ACM. It is being jointly organized by Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu, J & K, Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai and LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur Rajasthan, India. It is proposed to conduct this conference every two years. The objective of the conference is to bring together researchers from academia, government agencies, research laboratories and the corporate sector from all over the world to present their research works carried out in Pervasive Computing domain. Pervasive and Ubiquitous computing research is leading to evolve new sensors, devices and technologies for their applications in Agriculture, Environmental hazards, Human health care, smart city etc. This conference will provide an environment to conduct intellectual discussions and exchange ideas that are instrumental in shaping the future of Pervasive Computing domain.

About Conference Location (Jaipur):

Founded in AD 1727 by Sawai Jaisingh II, Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the Pink City with broad avenues and spacious gardens. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is steeped in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where once lived the maharajas. The bustling bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthani Jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are surely a treasure-trove for the shoppers. This fascinating city with its romantic charm takes you to an epoch of royalty and tradition.

The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur

The LNMIIT was founded in 2002 as a joint venture between Govt. of Rajasthan and Lakshi & Usha Mittal (LUM) Foundation as a philanthropic initiative. With the emphasis on quality and rigour in education, the Institute began its first academic session in july 2003 and was granted Deemed to be University status by UGC in 2006 under the De-Novo category. The 100-acre green residential campus is located in a serene atmosphere on the outskirts of India’s pink city, Jaipur. Till now, about 2250 students have graduated from the undergraduate (B. Tech.) programmes and nearly 125 students from the postgraduate (M. Tech., M. S. by Research, Ph.D.) programmes. Currently, total number of undergraduate students is about 1800+ and postgraduate students including Ph. D. candidates is 90. Girls constitute 20% of the total students.

The Institute is guided, in broad terms, by its Governing Council (GC) which is headed by its Founding Chairman, Padma Vibhushan Mr. L. N. Mittal, who is also the President and CEO of ArcelorMittal, one of the largest multinational steel and mining companies, apart from having his interests in petrochemical and energy sector through HMEL, a joint enterprise of HPCL and Mittal Energy Ltd.

Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai (IIT, Bhilai):

Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai was established in the state of Chhattisgarh by Ministry of Human Resource and Development in the year 2016. IIT Bhilai is presently housed in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh. IIT Bhilai offers Bachelors of Technology (BTech), Masters of Technology (MTech) and Doctoral programs (PhD) in various departments. The Institute made its modest start with introduction of BTech program in August 2016. The Institute is currently offering BTech and MTech programs in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME); and PhD program in the departments of Chemistry (CHM), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mathematics (MTH), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Physics (PHY). IIT Bhilai has established a 3-D Printing Lab that constitutes an integral part of 3-D Modeling and Design course, a fabrication lab, an electrical lab, a computer lab and a library in a short duration.

Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT, Jammu):

It was a memorable day on May 01,2016 at Jammu, when a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India, was signed, setting the ball rolling to set up an IIT campus at village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota at Jammu. The site is located on the National Highway 44 and is about 15 Km from the Airport. The State Government, J&K has provided the land, measuring 400acres for the establishment of the permanent campus of Indian Institute of Technology at Jammu. The Land has been handed over to the CPWD, Jammu Division to take up the construction of the Transit campus at Jagti as per layout plan.

IIT Jammu admitted the first batch of 82 bright students in August 2016 at a Temporary campus in Paloura, Jammu. The initial intake of students in the first year 2016 was 90 students, 30 each in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering discipline.

The transit campus at Jagti spread over 25 acres within the actual site of 400 acres became operational from the session 2017-18 in August 2017 and it can accommodate about 650 students. In the second year 2017, Civil Engineering discipline also started with an initial intake of 30 students.

Poornima College of Engineering:

PCE, the pioneer institute of PGC was established in 2000 with the aim of imparting pragmatic technical education. In its magnificent journey of 18 years, PCE has set benchmark and reached at new pinnacles in engineering education with dedication, perseverance and devotion. PCE is spearheading its outstanding voyage with motto as 'Success is not a destination, it's a journey'. NBA Accreditation in CE, EE & ECE department established PCE as leading institution of National repute. Poornima College of Engineering has ranked 2nd by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota under QIV indexing from last two years.
